Over a scrummy Nat-made meal some of us discussed a possible weekly evening of happy hours and home-brew at NewQ. What do people think? Being queer night at the sly fox it seems that drinks at NewQ before makes top sense, so people can warm up and then kick on together. If we sell home brew or cheap drinks and maybe some nibblies it'd also be a weekly opportunity to raise money for the space. I reckon a regular drinks night would also be a great way for people to get comfy in the space, what with music, bevvies, the prospect of a night on the sly and all sorts of queer cheer. Hum?
Also, I'll be at NewQ on Tuesdays from 11am till 5ish (unless there are people there who want to stick around) so pop in if you feel like it!
the open day has moved from tues to thurs. We had some new people today, there was painting, stencil making and plans for world domination.
last night we had a slyfox predrinx, there were 7 of us with no publicity, and we raised 20 bux. Seems like it will work well.
Anna, you need to come over so we can get brewing for next week :)
